Experience Honey Making Like Never Before

A hands-on honey experience rooted in Vermont tradition.

For nearly a century, Champlain Valley Apiaries has worked alongside the bees, cared for the land, and produced honey with purpose. What began as a small Vermont apiary has grown into generations of beekeepers committed to sustainable agriculture, healthy pollinators, and doing things the right way — even when it takes more time.

Now, we’re opening that experience to you.

This is an opportunity to step into the real process of honey making and experience the work, care, and craftsmanship behind every jar.

You’ll get a closer look at the world of beekeeping, learn how honey moves from hive to jar, and participate in the process yourself. Along the way, you’ll hear the stories, traditions, and practices that have shaped Champlain Valley Apiaries for more than 90 years.

Whether you’re someone who loves local food, cares about sustainability, or simply wants to reconnect with something tangible and real, this workshop was designed to give you an experience you can truly take part in.

You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of:
