Peanut Chocolate Chip Cookies

🍯Ingredients 

Yields: 16 cookies 

  • 1/2 cup Champlain Valley liquid honey 

 

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter 

  • 1/2 cup butter 

  • 1/4 packed brown sugar 

  • 1 egg 

  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 

  • 2 cups flour 

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda 

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt 

  • 6 oz chocolate morsels 

  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts, coarsely chopped.  

 

🍪Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine honey, peanut butter, butter, and brown sugar in a large bowl; beat until light and fluffy.
  3. Add egg and vanilla; mix thoroughly.
  4. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; mix well.
  5. Stir into peanut butter mixture.
  6. Stir in chocolate morsels and peanuts.
  7. Using 1/4 cup measure for each cookie, drop onto non-greased cookie sheet, flatten slightly. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until slightly browned. Remove to rack and cool.
