Honey London Fog Recipe

Honey London Fog Recipe

If you love a classic London Fog but want something a little lighter and more delicate, this Honey London Fog made with our new Harney & Sons Winter White Earl Grey is pure comfort in a cup. In this version, we’re swapping the black tea for white Earl Grey, which gives:

  • A lighter, smoother base

  • Subtle floral undertones

  • Less bitterness

  • Lower caffeine

The result? A softer, more delicate latte that still feels indulgent.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hot water

  • 1 Harney & Sons Winter White Earl Grey tea sachet

  • ¾ cup milk of choice (dairy, oat, almond, etc.)

  • 1–2 teaspoons Champlain Valley Apiaries raw honey (to taste)

  • ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

  • Optional: dried lavender or a small pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

1. Heat your water to about 175–185°F (not boiling — white tea is delicate).
Steep the white Earl Grey for 3–4 minutes. Remove the tea bag or strain the leaves.

  • Tip: Over-steeping white tea can make it slightly bitter, so keep an eye on the time!

2. Stir in the honey and vanilla extract while the tea is still hot so everything dissolves smoothly.

3. Warm your milk until hot but not boiling. Froth using a milk frother, a whisk, or simply shake it in a jar and microwave briefly

4. Pour the warm milk into your tea, holding back foam with a spoon.
Top with the remaining foam. Add a tiny drizzle of honey or a light sprinkle of cinnamon if you’d like!
