Whether you’re grilling, tossing a salad, or finishing a dish with a drizzle, honey-based sauces can transform everyday meals into something special!

1. Honey BBQ Sauce 🍖

This honey BBQ sauce is rich without being overly sweet, with just enough tang and smoke to keep things interesting.

  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

How to use: Brush on grilled meats, use as a dipping sauce, or spread on sandwiches.
Storage: Keeps in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

2. Honey Mustard Dressing🥗

This dressing strikes that perfect sweet-tangy balance and works just as well on salads as it does as a dip.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Champlain Valley Apiaries honey

  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard

  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)

  • ½ cup olive oil

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl or jar, whisk together honey, mustard, vinegar, and garlic.

  2. Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking to emulsify.

  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

How to use: Salad dressing, chicken marinade, veggie dip, or sandwich spread.
Storage: Refrigerate for up to 1 week. Shake before using.

3. Honey Garlic Sauce 🧄

This honey garlic sauce is sticky, garlicky, and totally addictive—perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Champlain Valley Apiaries honey

  • ¼ cup soy sauce (or tamari)

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

  • 2 tablespoons water

  3. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry.

  4. Stir slurry into the sauce and simmer for 2–3 minutes until thick and glossy.

  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

How to use: Toss with wings, drizzle over stir-fried vegetables, glaze salmon or tofu.
Storage: Store in the fridge for up to 10 days.

These honey condiments are easy to make, customizable, and far better than store-bought. Once you try one, you’ll probably end up making all three. 😉
