
Honey Chicken Wings

Ingredients
FOR THE CHICKEN WING HONEY SAUCE
- 2 dozen chicken wings
- 1 stick of butter
- ½ cup Champlain Valley raw honey
- ½ cup hot sauce of your choice
- 6 garlic cloves minced
FOR THE DIPPING SAUCE
- ½ lemon, juiced
- 1 tablespoon Champlain Valley raw honey
- ½ cup blue cheese crumbles
- ¼ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup full fat yoghurt
Instructions
- Sauté garlic and butter until golden.
- Add honey and heat until mixture bubbles.
- Add hot sauce of choice and heat until mixture bubbles.
- Shut off heat and put wing sauce into a tossing bowl for later.
- Steam chicken wings for about 10 minutes, until outside is beige and mostly cooked.
- Lay out wings on parchment paper on a sheet pan. Cook at 425 F for 25 minutes, skin side down.
- Meanwhile, make the blue cheese dipping sauce: Mix together ingredients until thoroughly combined and set aside.
- Flip wings and cook for another 15 minutes, or until crispy.
- Toss wings in honey sauce and enjoy!
