Fire Honey Recipe

Fire Honey Recipe

If you’ve spent any time on wellness TikTok lately, you’ve probably seen fire honey making the rounds. This version isn’t just spicy — it’s a warming blend of honey and spices that are traditionally used to support the body during cold and flu season. Think of it as a sweet, fiery spoonful you take when your throat feels scratchy. It'll definitely clean out your sinuses!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Champlain Valley Apiaries raw honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to a jar
Place all spices into a clean glass jar.

  2. Pour in the honey
Add the raw honey and stir slowly until fully combined. Take your time — the honey will thicken as the spices incorporate.

  3. Seal and rest
Close the lid and let the mixture sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Stir again before using.

  4. Store
Keep your fire honey sealed in the refrigerator for up to 2–3 weeks
